Bio

I was born in Moscow, Russia in 1978. I received a diploma in applied mathematics (M.Sc. degree) from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University (1996-2001), and a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the School of Computing of Queen's University (2001-2004). I am now a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Turku (Turku, Finland). My research interests are generally in formal language and automata theory. I am specifically interested in language equations and parsing.
